Welcome to Stroller Strong with Fitmama Strong Durham! Our Stroller Strong series has always been a highlight for so many during their postpartum journey. Whether you are an athlete or are just starting for the first time, our classes are the best & most effective way to rebuild strength after baby.
These classes are not a stroll in the park, you are going to be building muscle using your stroller and other equipment to prepare for daily demands of parenting. We love to keep the classes on the move, which helps keep your little ones entertained and often lulled to sleep 😴😴
Our programs are a great way to re-build your strength postpartum in a fun & safe way while connecting with your baby and building your community. Our classes are currently open for registration. Select the day/time that works for your schedule. All of our class passes also include access to our Live online schedule and On Demand Content Library. Members that take advantage of our online classes are less likely to miss in person workouts, increase their strength & endurance and get stronger, faster. Why do we include access to our live streamed classes? Because we’re moms too and we know how easy it is for schedules to change last minute, our online workouts help our members build consistency!

When you purchase your class pass, it will be exclusive to the TIME and DAY of the program you registered for.
A minimum number of registrations are required for a class to run. Class sizes will be capped to allow for the best in person experience. Please note: Locations may be subject to change. Fitmama Strong Durham reserves the right to change the schedule (class days/time/locations) on occasion, as the need arises. Any changes will be communicated in advance. There are some scenarios where adjustments to the schedule that are unavoidable will have to be made, but these circumstances a few and far between. We appreciate your understanding and support.

Whitby: Purchase this pass and get 6 in-person classes (September 10, 17, 24, October 1, 8, 15 2024) and unlimited access to our virtual, live-streamed 30 minute Express classes (Express Flow, Express STRONG & Express ELEVATE classes), as well as our Content Library of pre-recorded workout videos! Your pass is valid from August 1st-October 20th 2024 which means you have access to all of our online experiences for this time.

Whitby: Purchase this pass and get 6 in-person classes (September 12, 19, 26, October 3, 10, 17 2024) and unlimited access to our virtual, live-streamed 30 minute Express classes (Express Flow, Express STRONG & Express ELEVATE classes), as well as our Content Library of pre-recorded workout videos! Your pass is valid from August 1st-October 20th 2024 which means you have access to all of our online experiences for this time.

It’s all in the details…
Each class is led by Jen, a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor and pre/postnatal fitness specialist. Jen also holds many other certifications and trainings (including functional mobility, Core & Pelvic Floor Rehab, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Birth Doula and Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, just to list a few!) She has been teaching and training pregnant and postpartum people for over 14 years and has trained thousands of women across Durham Region + online.
🌳 All Stroller Strong classes are held outdoors all season long. Please consider the weather and dress appropriately. Practice Sun Safety (wear sunscreen, hats and light coloured clothing) Our climate is ever changing and although we will do our best to adapt to the conditions, we can not control the weather and rarely cancel classes due to weather.
⛈ Classes run Rain or Shine. In the event of a thunder or lightning classes may be cancelled & rescheduled or moved to a safe, indoor location.
‼️ Refunds must be requested prior to September 3rd (unless you have already attended an online class prior to September 3rd). After that all sales are final. All refunds are subject to a $25+HST admin fee.
💪🏾 Classes are appropriate for all stages of postpartum recovery and athleticism. Younger babies may have to have their needs tended to more than older babies. You are absolutely encouraged to tend to your babies needs for their comfort & yours. We encourage you to feed your baby prior to class, but we recognize that not all babies follow our clock- so we will help make sure you’re both comfortable.
👟Please wear appropriate clothing for outdoor fitness (running shoes/training shoes are a MUST. You will not be able to participate if you do not have the appropriate footwear (no flip-flops/sandals or heeled boots)
🗓 Missed class policy: Unused/Missed classes are the sole discretion of the participant. Missed classes are non-refundable and we can not accommodate extending the session. Our LIVE online classes and On Demand Content Library are included in the pass purchase and are a great way to stay active when your schedule changes. We know how unpredictable life can be with a baby/toddler, which is why we include access to our virtual studios. Due to the nature of how the class is structured we do not have the ability to switch people in/out of their registered scheduled session.
